Principles

CTS star provides you with clear, easy-to-use views, with no duplication of data, enabling data to be read and extracted by external tools. CTS star lets you group a large number of consolidations into a single view, simplifying data handling by presenting it as a single table. Dimensions are presented exhaustively, with all their characteristics and sub-characteristics, without the need for additional joins. What’s more, periods are treated in the same way as other dimensions, offering uniformity in data handling.

Star schema

The star schema adopted ensures that all dimensions are complete, with their characteristics and sub-characteristics, grouped together in a single table. What’s more, it’s possible to create as many online “templates” as required, according to different consolidation sorting criteria, offering greater flexibility in data analysis.
